Parable of the Talents – Destiny’s Child
I work hard at not comparing myself to others. I have to do what feels best for me. But that was a hard lesson to learn. What is meant for you is meant for you only, but I/you need to take the proper steps to make something you really want in life a reality. You can’t do that by just talking about it, comparing yourself to others or just giving up.
I agree with you completely. Sometimes we forget that we each have our own race, and in that race, our own lane. We are not all meant to be Steve Jobs, but we are meant to do our best with what we have.
Thanks for stopping by. 🙂
I loooooooooooooooooove your post, POWERFUL…thank you, I needed that…
Thanks Unami 🙂
Good to know I’ve helped at least one other person see things a little bit clearer.
Great stuff! Made me pause and think. Thanks for the nudge!
i think this one of the best post! trully inspiring! i learnt early on in life not to compare myself to anyone cause it was jus too much. growing up with a brilliant older sister was tuff. so from then i saw it fit for me to just carve my own path which i could define and control where it went. And it seems to have worked for me. Ya there those days of insecuries becuase someelse got what you wanted or got there first but – what i now know for sure is God knows the plan for life and that wasnt the right thing at then and greater things await me.
